"........Fortunately there were some pleasant surprises at the Dranouter Festival.
First of all French band MANDALA. Beforehand, we knew nothing about MANDALA.
But what a fine example of "New Tradition" they turned out to be. Modern Rap integrated in traditional music (Brittany) and also some fine pieces of (improvised) Jazz. A line up with baritone saxophone, bombarde, flute, accordeon, cister and a strong rythm section. I think rapper Onan was using an autocue* but he delivered his raps with astonishing power and speed.We searched for a CD but unfortunately there wasn't one available."
